Palms City Resort – Paradise in the heart of Darwin

It was a nice warm (38 degrees!) Darwin day to pay a visit to one of Visit Gay Australia’s newest members and meet manager Taryn Hughes, along with some of her great staff members.
Palms City Resort is in an ideal location right on the esplanade and within walking distance of CBD shopping, bars and first class restaurants.
Palms features private cabin style villas and stylish rooms overlooking tropical landscaped gardens.
I was shown around the property by assistant manager Gina and was also introduced to her assistant Richard who is the best go-to person to ask about gay welcoming clubs and restaurants in the city.
According to Richard, “Palms has hosted many gay couples (and singles) in the past who enjoy the convenient location and facilities.”
