In March 2016, partners Peter Burr and Gareth Leslie opened Potager to showcase the beautiful region they live in.
Set on a small 10-acre farm in Carool's picturesque countryside, Hatted Restaurant Potager has become a culinary destination popular with locals and visitors from afar. While guests come to taste sumptuous cuisine, they are spoiled with a flourishing Northern NSW valley with views to the ocean from inside a contemporary fit out, in the stylish decor of local craftspeople. As much as possible is grown on the farm and sourced from the surrounding region.
Potager's awards include Gold at the 2022 NSW Tourism Awards and Silver at the 2022 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards and is located 15 minutes from Tweed Heads, 1hr from Byron Bay and is just a short 20-minute drive from the Gold Coast Airport.
