The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden

Recharge with a day in nature at the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden where lush rainforests, boundless views and cleansing air make this an unrivalled escape.

Positioned on the summit of Mount Tomah at an altitude of 1000m, the Garden is a wellness playground where you can enjoy a peaceful picnic in woodlands, sketch flowers in full bloom, unwind with yoga in a formal garden or linger over lunch at the café with a backdrop of mountain ranges.

The Garden protects local and imported cool climate plants across 28 hectares of curated garden and a further 245 hectares of wilderness. This is where the ‘dinosaur tree’, the Wollemi pine thrives.

With free entry, press pause and take a stroll along pathways within this World Heritage Area location. Experience four distinct seasons with warm autumnal tones from maples, vibrant spring blooms and cherry blossoms, summer sunsets over meadows and valleys, and a winter garden with more than 150,000 daffodils.

The Garden is an award-winning wedding venue and features BBQ locations for hire under giant eucalypts.
